Jeffrey A. and Karol Levitt have appealed to this Court from two separate but related orders of the Circuit Court for Baltimore City. The first case challenges the authority of the circuit court to issue a prejudgment injunction that conditionally impounds the Levitts' property. The second case attacks a contempt judgment against the Levitts for disobeying the injunction. Because our decision in the first case, in part, controls the second case, we nostra sponte consolidated the appeals.
